At Axiom, we’re privileged to have played a pivotal role in the transformative redevelopment of Pītau-Allenvale School, where every student’s unique abilities are embraced and supported. Our collaboration with the project team involved providing specialist aluminium, timber, and steel fencing solutions tailored to the diverse needs of students with disabilities and neurodiversity, ensuring their safety, security, and well-being were paramount.
With a commitment to inclusive education, we worked closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other stakeholders to develop fencing solutions that addressed the specific challenges and requirements of students with high health needs. From sensory-sensitive designs to dynamic engagement with specialised professionals, every aspect of our work was guided by a deep understanding of the unique needs of the young learners at Pītau-Allenvale School.
Our fencing solutions were not just about boundaries; they were about creating safe and supportive environments where every student could thrive. Whether it was providing secure access control for classrooms, creating calming outdoor spaces, or ensuring robust perimeter security, our solutions were designed with the well-being of the students in mind.
Throughout the project, we fostered a collaborative approach that brought together expertise from various disciplines to ensure the success of the redevelopment. By working closely with educators, therapists, and construction professionals, we were able to integrate our fencing solutions seamlessly into the campus environment, contributing to an inclusive and accessible learning space for all.
As construction progresses, we take pride in knowing that our work will have a lasting impact on the lives of students at Pītau-Allenvale School. By championing inclusive education and prioritising the needs of every learner, we’re helping to create a future where diversity is celebrated, and every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential”
